Black Friday Fatigue
And Stocking Stuffers For Adults
Hi Friends,
Is it just me, or is this year extra-urgent with the sales? I usually totally ignore them both, personally and in my writing, but this year I admit I got swept away by it. Maybe it’s because Thanksgiving is so late this year, leaving little time before Christmas.
I have never in my life finished shopping before Thanksgiving, though I am giving it a real try this year. I’m usually the one still shopping for stocking stuffers on Christmas Eve day, then staying up until 4:00 am wrapping everything. Not this year, folks.
I have two delightful girls in their twenties, and for as long as I’m around, they will continue to get stockings. It’s the first thing we do Christmas morning, with a lot of laughs as we peruse the contents of our “stockings” from “Santa”. So, in the spirit of stockings for adult children, particularly girls, here is my stocking stuffer list, which happens to also be on sale!
Sweed is offering 25% off site-wide now until 11/30. I’ve already talked about how much I love the mascara with a comb applicator. The Korean-made blush is excellent as well.
I just added Dr Diamond’s Plasma Bioactive Growth Factor Serum to my routine to firm and brighten my skin. It contains an impressive list of active ingredients, and so far, I like the results, but it’s too early to report any long-term changes. I’ll get back to you on that, but the reviews are great. Since I’m not doing any procedures, I’m all for trying what the latest science has to offer to improve the quality of my skin. This is for my stocking, 20% off site-wide with code HOLIDAYRX.
I have been using Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment for at least 15 years, and now I get it for my girls. I’ve tried others, but always come back to it because it is gentle for my super sensitive eye area and does the job better than anything else. Keihl’s is having thier biggest sale of the season with up to 50% off site-wide.
Another for my stocking, these Agmes tiny gold hoops. I love them for every day and to balance out a statement necklace with as discussed in Sunday’s post. Currently, the entire site is 25% off.
A few more important sales:
If this is your year to invest in a shearling, suede, or leather coat or jacket, be sure to look at Nour Hammour first. Their regular prices are already very good while maintaining the highest quality and styling. I love this women-owned and run French brand. Frankly, I don’t know how they do it compared to their competitors, which are so much more expensive and not better or even as good. I’m constantly looking at them in the stores in New York that carry them; the quality is amazing. Their private sale is on now, offering 20-30% off select styles. You can access the sale here, and my complete sale edit here.
Other sales I’m shopping, and recommending;
Candace, for the best travel containers on the market 30% off site-wide until 12/1
Banana Republic has been looking great lately and currently has up to 40% off.
Kule is another brand I love for the best-fitting tees in great colors and patterns, 30% off with code BF30.
La Ligne has fantastic sweaters with 50% off sale items, and their only sale of the year.
Jenny Kayne has 25% off nearly everything.

I may make a commission on recommendations, though I only recommend what I would buy myself. If you purchase something through a link provided here or in my shop, I thank you for supporting me and the work I do here on What Looks Good.
That’s all for now. I hope your week is going according to plan. Embrace the chaos and enjoy!

I know! This is not my year for a new shearling, but when it is, I'm going straight to NH.
J’adore Nour Hammour such a good time to invest inside pieces. The quality is unreal!
