Up your beach game and summer essentials

I didn’t intend to make more sales recommendations, but there is just too much good stuff out there on sale for Memorial Day not to pass along to you. I’ll never forget the weekend, many summers ago, when a college friend of my then-husband and his French wife came to our beach house for a weekend. She was the epitome of French girl style; beautiful in that undone, minimal makeup, tousled hair kind of way. She arrived in the perfect tan cotton sun dress and espadrilles. I immediately made a mental note that I needed exactly that kind of dress. As the weekend wore on, she repeated that outfit several times. We were both young mothers, busy attending to our kids. That lesson in style stuck with me, it’s not how much you have, it’s having the right things that fit the life you’re living. I always keep that in mind when I’m making recommendations; uncover the pieces you’ll reach for again and again, and always feel good in.

Up Your Beach/Pool Game

If you spend time at the beach or pool, beach towels and a beach bag are essential. They should also reflect your overall on-the-water style. I just stumbled upon the New York based company Kassatex.
