Hi Friends,
I’m enjoying my last week in Spain in the port town of Dénia, where I’ve been for the last few weeks. I’ll return to Madrid for a few days, then back to New York. I promise a full recap later.
For now, I wanted to alert you to the news that the jewelry brand, Daphine, is sadly closing its doors after seven years. I love to support small independent brands, particularly women-owned and run, that care about the environment and the community of people they employ. Daphine has been a stellar example of this. I’m sure cofounders Damasia Ball and Philippine de Follin will go on to new and exciting challenges, tapping the expertise they gained at Daphine.
There isn’t a piece on their website that I wouldn’t love to wear. Now, most is 30% off. I’ve always loved the look of wide matching cuffs in gold. These would work perfectly.
And a few more things to consider.
You can see my entire edit here, or better yet, go to the site and see for yourself here.

It's sad to see any independent venture having to close. Even without the sale discount they ate reasonably priced. Maybe the market is too competitive. Although it's engaging to see things online I much prefer seeing something first hand. Touching and feeling something whether garments or jewellery. I wonder if they also sold through shops? Certainly wish them well in any new projects.
Thanks Jolain for letting us know. I just ordered 2 necklaces.
