Thanks for the interesting post. I think you're spot on that a romantic look doesn't have to be all frills and flouces especially if you're an older woman. I love the idea of the 'wrong shoes'. I think floaty romantic clothes look great with boots, if the weather permits. In the UK we're on the brink of another heatwave, which is not good news for a nation not geared up for this type of weather so it would have to be romance with sandals!
Hi Jan, Sorry for my late response, I just got back to my desk after a few days away and unplugged! You have had quite a hot summer so far! We all could use a little romance in our wardrobes. The selections are mainly in cotton and linen, which are the coolest fabrics to wear, and sandals can certainly add romance! Stay cool!
