Hi Jan, I love that skirt. It’s sheer so I would wear it with a nude colored slip. The slip would protect the skirt and unless you spill something on it should be good for many wears without cleaning. Laces are almost always made of synthetic material which should be able to handle a gentle hand washing rolled in a towel then hung to dry.

Love the black lace skirt. interesting to note it says dry clean only. I know manufacturers often cover themselves by using this on garments. Is dry cleaning still a thing in the US. Except for tailored garments I think it's far less so in the UK. Far fewer dry cleaners around for one thing. Plenty of people ruin their clothes by just throwing them in the washing machine of course. I'm sure that black lace skirt would survive a gentle hand-wash though.
