I have to say this suede jacket is a really great find! It’s almost like a car coat, but it’s cut a little shorter. It’s symmetrical, but still has the paneling that makes it a little more rugged and versatile. You can tell the fabric is soft and will earn a soft patina over time. Lovely!
" .....try to add pieces that don’t duplicate what you already have" And good luck with that. I do try but still find myself buying garments I already have. I love the layering concept. It is especially useful in the UK where we get 4 seasons in a day and none of them seem to be spring or summer. I think layering dresses over leggings or trousers is also a good idea. I bought a dress the other day and fear it's a tad too short for my age....but over trousers over leggings it looks good.
Absolutely Jan, dresses can be layered from the top or bottom! It's all about playing in front of the mirror to see what works and keeping an open mind. If you're not sure take a mirror selfie and look at it later. The answer will be apparent.
The jacket is amazing. Definitely going to take a closer look.
*running to COS to buy that suede jacket*
