That Comme Si set is to die for! It has been in my list since forever, do you know if the quality is up to their high prices?

Hi Giulia, I haven’t ordered from them yet but I love what they’re doing. Their cotton things are beautiful as well. Il let you know when I have.

During covid I started treating myself to silk pajamas, since I wasn’t leaving the house. That eberjey set is my favorite. I’ve replaced it once (lots of wear), but it lasted a lot longer than more expensive brands. You’ve inspired me to branch out into slips and nightdresses now.

Fantastic! Thanks for the tip! I love silk, nothing feels better and now with so many washable options it’s a game changer. I’ll try the Eberjey set. Let me know how branching out goes!

I thought your comment about slips was interesting. Do young women wear slips now? They were an essential garment to ensure your dress or skirt hung as it should particularly if they were unlined. I'd add a plea here for manufacturers to be more conscious of clothing labels especially on underwear. For those of us with ultra sensitive skin a label that looks too difficult to remove will mean we won't buy it in case we damage the delicate fabric. Thanks for the post.

Hi Jan, Slips are so chic, I remember my mother always wore one and they were so beautifully made, always in pale colors with lace details. I never owned a proper slip to wear under my clothes though I have had slip dresses. Young women would wear them as dresses but I can see the practicality of wearing them under clothing, adding a layer of luxury against the skin. Maybe I'll give it a try. Labels can be a nuisance, try a seam ripper that can slip under the threads on top of the label so you don't make contact with the fabric.
