Thank you Giulia! That means so much to me!! I absolutely love what you're doing as well and looking forward to much more in 2025. All the best to you in the New Year!
I really love the way you share your insider knowledge of how the fashion industry works, and bring my attention to things I wouldn’t normally notice. Thank you for your work!
Thank you Laetitia! I appreciate the encouragement and look forward to much more in 2025. The fashion industry is fascinating and I love writing about it. So glad you enjoy it!!!
I enjoyed rereading the posts. I'd like to add something to ' Know your style'. I think it's hugely important. I'm sure I'm not the only person who's bought something for the person that they might possibly be, in a parallel universe. You've seen a look and the look looks good but it's not you as you discover when you've nothing that goes with it and you don't feel comfortable wearing it. So it hangs in your wardrobe. Every once in a while you get it out and try it on. After all it's beautifully made and wasn't cheap. And then back it goes. The other side of this coin is I think not to be afraid to try something new. A colour you don't usually wear, a layering of summer and winter weights, a shape you wouldn't normally pick, a hat if you're not a hat- wearer. Perhaps this is even more important if you're an older woman. I think you can still wear whatever style you want as you get older. Maybe a different version ..... Banish beige (does beige exist in the US?) embrace some colour even if it's just earings.
What a lovely year together! 100% one of my favourite publications xx keep up with the good work Jolian, we love you!
